WITS Workout ~ February 18th from 1 to 2 pm

Give your brain the workout it needs to stay sharp. Participate in interactive brain teasers, games, and puzzles that get you thinking, because coming together and learning new things is good for your noggin! Recommended for older adults. 

You must register in advance with your email so that the corresponding documents can be emailed to you prior to the program. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom meeting ID & password. Evergreen Park Public Library

Professional Headshots, February 20th from 9:30 to 4:30

For those who recently lost their jobs due to COVID-19 and the recent economic downturn, Evergreen Park Public Library will be offering free professional headshots to help boost your confidence and give you a leg up in your new job hunt. According to LinkedIn, having a professional headshot attached to your profile can bring you 21 times more profile views and 9 times more connection requests.

Reserve a 10 minute session in advance beginning January 20. First session begins at 9:30 am, and last session will be at 4:30 pm.

Call 708.422.8522 ext 132 to reserve your time slot. In the event that time slots fill up, you will be placed in order on a waitlist and notified of an opening.

Please bring your own flash drive where the photo will be stored.

Some tips to prepare for your headshot:

  • Dress to match your prospective job role. It is best to wear a solid, neutral colored top.
  • Natural make up photographs well
  • Don't wear too much jewelry to distract from your gorgeous face
  • If you wear glasses, be sure to bring them to the session
  • Come prepared to smile, and nab that job!
